Lawyers Reach Out to Build Social Awareness

MOSVELDTT recently conducted another workshop on relevant laws in the educational sector for the teachers and academic personnel of St. Scholastica’s Academy in Marikina City. This was conducted as part of the firm’s continuous outreach and civil society programs.

MOSVELDTT lawyers Keisha Trina M. Guangko, Charm Krizia L. Medina, Sheena Marie T. Morales, and Jamaica Ida C. Palce discussed the salient features of the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act of 1995 (RA 7877), Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 (RA 10627), and the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) with the participants to better equip them with important information regarding their rights and obligations as teachers and members of the academe.

Founded by lawyers believing in the value of education, MOSVELDTT maintains these programs to instill in its lawyers a keen concern for nation-building and social awareness.
