• Obando and MWC Forms JVC

    Manila Water Company Inc. (MWC), with the help of MOSVELDTT, has won the contract to build, operate and expand the water supply system and sanitation facilities in Obando, Bulacan through a joint venture company. MWC's wholly-owned subsidiary Manila Water Philippine Ventures Inc. (MWPV) received the notice of award dated Jan. 24 from the Obando Water District. Upon fulfillment of the conditions precedent, MWC, through MWPV, will form a joint venture company (JVC) that will be in charge of the project's implementation. The said JVC will then obtain a concession from OWD as its agent and contractor, in order to develop and repair water facilities in Obando. The JVC aims to fully improve water services in the municipality, including its sanitation services.

  • Ayala Group Acquires 49% of Zalora

The transaction welcomes the Ayala Group into the industry of e-commerce. The Zalora brand has presence in various countries in Asia, and is considered as Asia's Leading Fashion Destination.

  • Ayala Acquires UNC

    MOSVELDTT, led by partner Atty. Jerry S. Coloma III, assisted Ayala Education, Inc., the education investment arm of Ayala Corporation, in acquiring controlling interest in the University of Nueva Caceres (UNC), the first university in Southern Luzon outside Manila with over 7,000 students. Currently, Ayala Education holds sixty percent (60%) of UNC, one of the leading universities in the Bicol Region. As Ayala Education's flagship university, Alfredo Imperial Ayala, Ayala Education's CEO, has been appointed by UNC as its president. Ayala Education started to invest in the education industry in 2012, with the influx of demand to develop Filipino talents in various industries, including thee information technology-business process outsourcing (IT-BPO) sector, retail, tourism and telecommunications sector.
