Ms. Verocel joined the Firm as an Associate after having been admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2023. She is part of the Firm’s Litigation Department where she handles civil, criminal, and labor cases, as well as alternative dispute resolution like construction arbitration. She has also been engaged in the fields of corporate law and special projects.
Ms. Verocel earned her Juris Doctor Degree with Seconds Honors from Ateneo Law School in 2022. During her time in law school, with a passion for women’s and children’s rights, she served as an intern for the Ateneo Human Rights Center (AHRC) where she would take part and assist in AHRC’s projects such as AHRC’s online legal assistance and counselling program.
Prior to joining the firm, she had been an intern for another law firm where she assisted in consultations, preparation of pleadings, and other essential legal work. She was also an intern for the legal NGO called SALIGAN (Sentro ng Alternatibong Lingap Panligal) where she took part in legal consultations, paralegal trainings, and legal literacy activities as well assisted in the activities involving the women and children’s sector.
