Ms. Chan has experience in litigation, special projects, corporate law, intellectual property, and taxation. She has handled a diverse range of legal matters, including declaration of nullity of marriage, change of name, corporate housekeeping, land acquisition, fraud, robbery, government procurement, and local taxation. She has a particular interest in the intersection of family and corporate law, as well as government procurement law.
Her legal journey includes serving as a faculty research assistant for Professor Dante B. Gatmaytan, a constitutional law expert. She gained hands-on experience interning at three top law firms and contributed to legal scholarship as an editorial assistant for Philippine Law Journal Volume 94. She also worked as a legal analyst for Action for Economic Reform, studying national policies on data collection and drafting ordinances for local governments.
Beyond law, Ms. Chan has a strong academic and artistic background—she competed in international math contests in high school and performed in musicals during college.
