Ms. Bumatay joined the Firm in 2023 as a Paralegal while completing her final year in law school. Prior to her tenure with the Firm, she gained valuable experience as a Paralegal at a law office based in Muntinlupa City. After graduating from law school in 2024, she continued her career at the Firm as an Underbar Associate, eventually earning admission to the Bar in 2025.
Since joining the Firm, she has worked on a wide variety of legal matters across corporate, litigation, labor, and taxation practices. Within corporate practice, she has been extensively involved in accounts concerning property acquisitions.
During her undergraduate years, Ms. Bumatay actively participated in the Ateneo Junior Marketing Association and served on the board of Ateneo Psyche, the Loyola Schools’ premier psychology organization. In her Junior Year, she expanded her academic experience through a Junior Term Abroad at Tilburg University in the Netherlands, earning academic units in Psychology. She was also a member of the UP Law Charivari when she was in law school.
Ms. Bumatay enjoys cooking and traveling, always on the lookout for new places to explore and dishes to try. A passionate advocate for animal welfare, she dreams of establishing a shelter for stray dogs someday.
